Making a difference

As a registered charity, We Are Farming Minds is funded by donations. Can you help to fundraise for our vital services?

Your support counts

We know that our support is invaluable to farmers and rural communities. Without our volunteers who give up their time and fundraise for us, we’d simply never afford to keep going.

390£

Fundraising

  • Come Dine With Me - invite your friends to dinner. Take it in turns to cook for each other and give scores. You can all donate to attend, or pay what you would have spent dining out. Nothing like a bit of healthy competition, laughing with your friends and hopefully some good food!
  • Not for the faint hearted – Charity Skydive - there are lots of skydive schools around the country and nothing gets hands in pockets more than you jumping out of a plane at 13,000 feet! See link for example:
  • Pub Quiz – these are growing in popularity and you can find a pub in almost every town that now hosts a pub quiz. Speak to your local publican and see if they would host a quiz for your charity. Another good night out with your friends whilst raising money for a good cause.

  • Mud Run – why not make your run more fun and messy by signing up for a mud run to raise money. There are lots of locations and events throughout the UK
    Mud Runs & Mud Races | 2021 - 2022 UK Events Calendar | Find A Race.

  • Games Night – another great night with your friends and family. Host a games night at home and invite friends and family to donate and let the games commence! Maximise your fundraising on the night by having a raffle.

Fundraising with Children

  • Bake Sale - if you want to get them involved too then there are lots of fun things you can do together like a children’s bake sale. They will love getting messy in the kitchen while spending time with you. You can even set a theme that’s relevant to your charity.
  • Pet Party - Everyone loves their pets and would jump at the opportunity to celebrate with them. Feel free to get as creative as you want with this fundraiser, making it as upscale or casual as you’d like! Hold a party for your beloved pet, even add a fancy dress competition, and everyone must make a donation to attend. Another one your children would love to get involved with.

  • Scavenger Hunt – an easy way to raise money that’s great fun for the kids. Ask friends or local businesses to donate small prizes then set a course for them to find them all.
