Mental Health Awareness Workshops

Our Mental Health Awareness Workshops are free, practical sessions designed to help people within the farming community recognise the signs of poor mental wellbeing and feel confident supporting others in a compassionate and appropriate way.

The workshops provide real-world tools, guidance and signposting so that attendees leave feeling informed, reassured and better equipped to start important conversations around mental health.

Can you help us support farmers?

Many farmers work long hours, often in isolation, and may not always feel comfortable asking for support. That’s why awareness within the wider farming network is so important.

If your role brings you into regular contact with farmers or you live and work in rural communities, you can play a vital part in recognising when someone might be struggling.

We offer fully funded Mental Health Awareness Workshops to help you understand the signs of poor mental wellbeing and how to respond with confidence and compassion.

Together, we can help create a farming community where conversations around mental health feel normal and support is always within reach.

"I learnt a lot from the training. Particularly learning about warning signs and stressors and how to open a conversation about someone’s mental health. It made me more aware of how high the suicide rate is in farming and how I can help."
